Screen printing: It is a method of printing on garments and apparel where ink is pushed through a design that has been cut out of a piece of cloth (a ‘screen’) and stretched across a frame. Each colour requires a new screen. The garment or apparel is then put through a heat tunnel to cure the ink. In other words, it is suitable for all kinds of apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, bags and other promotional products.
Embroidery: It is the ornamentation of fabric using a needle and thread. Once upon a time embroidery was done with a human hand attached to the needle and thread, but these days we have these nifty big machines that do a lot of the work for us at a much faster pace. It gives a high quality clean and professional finish. Therefore, embroidery is the most common print method for work-wear, trade wear and corporate uniforms . It’s also the most long lasting print method. We can embroider a wide range of products, such as t-shirts, hoodies, bags, scarves, beanies, towels, blankets etc.
Digital Printing: Direct to Garment, or DTG printing is the process where a printer applies a specially formulated water-based ink directly onto the garment, using ink-jet technology. Think of a paper printer, only bigger. The garment absorbs the inks into the fibres, creating a softer feel to the traditional method of screen printing. Our machines can print in full colour using CMYKW. Digital printing is a great option for those working with a small budget. Hence, there are no minimums for DTG printing.
