Printed Sweatshirts

Sweatshirts are made of thermal fabric to keep to safe for cold. Here at Great West Graphics, we do custom sweatshirts using screen print method, DTG, heat transfer or embroidery. The decoration method most of the times is customer choice but sometime we need to choose according to the design.

Variety in Sweatshirts

Great West Graphics carry different kind of sweatshirts such as lightweight, heavyweight, inside fleece, without fleece etc. Customer can select the style of crew neck for customization depending upon their work requirement. For instance, if any construction company required some crew neck done with their company logo printed they can select heavyweight. Because most of times their work in outdoor.

• Heavy Weight Crewneck: Under heavyweight category we couples of options with different brand. One on them is Gildan 18000 which is very common and sold on regular basis. In addition to this, we have Fruit of the Loom 82300 which is also a heavy cotton and selected by most of companies who works outdoor.
• Light/Mid Weight Crewneck: For light weight crewneck we have Independent SS3000 which is very good quality and chosen by the companies who wants to begin their own brand. Great West Graphics also carry Gildan 92500 made up of Premium cotton.

Decoration

Screen Print: Screen print is one of the popular method for decorated. This method is used for smooth area using a mesh screen and ink squeezes. A mesh screen is placed on UV light with the logo film. This way, UV light block the all area of the screen except the logo portion. Then this screen is adjusted on machines (can be manual or automatic). Any apparel like crewneck is placed under screen on a panel. A ink layer is placed on screen and then with the help of squeeze ink is run through the screen. This is how any items like sweatshirt is screen printed. Then the apparel is passed through dryer so that print can be heel.

Embroidery: Embroidery is another method of customization using thread and needles. Embroidery gives a professional look to the garment. To do embroidery a digitize file is required which is needed for the software to give instruction to the machine. With the help of this file, software allows machine to use special colors of thread and placement to put the needle in and out.

DTG

DTG: DTG stands for Direct to Garment which is a method of customization. When the number of colors are more than 6, we suggest customer for DTG print. For multi color logo DTG becomes the cheapest option. In this type, We spray ink direct on the garments with the help of inkjet printer. This is how we print a paper just change paper to clothing.

Heat Transfer: This is second method of decoration when anyone has multi colors in logo. We suggest this method when number of units are less. For Heat transfer process we use a Vinyl paper. On which a design is printed with the help of printer and then a vinyl cutter cut the design from whole sheet. This design is adjusted on the right placement of garment. With the use of high temperature heat press machine, design is transferred on garment.
