Even though embroidery is fairly diverse, there are different factors to consider when embroidering. Here is a list of things to consider when deciding to embroider.
- Be mindful of text. Small text will not show well as there are many spaces in letters that will fill. Letters such as a, e, o, b, d, and q become ever so difficult to embroider when the size decreases.
- Spacing. The embroidery machine requires a certain amount of space to move around.
- Gradient can be difficult to portray in embroidery. Therefore, we recommend screen-printing gradients.
- If you want to embroider a curve behind a hat, it will have to be very subtle.
